This website is dedicated to topics closely associated with the village of South Kelsey. This includes an abridged history by a lady who has a published book on that topic.  Through our site you may access a considerable amount of my current and historic rainfall as well as other climatological data right back to 1969. If you email me for assistance I will do my best to help.  Do please view the craft pages.  Initially my own work íis featured but South Kelsey has no shortage of talented people.  I would like to exhibit their work too.  Much quilting is done and I know of a farmer’s wife who spins wool from her own sheep and then uses it in her craft work.  We have a book dealer who specialises in antiquarian books and a rural manufacturer of bespoke furniture to name but a few.  I hope that you enjoy using my website.
As do most bird lovers, we provide a rich diet of regular meals to our wide cross section of countryside birds.  These birds are close to the bottom of the food chain and as far as the Sparrow Hawk is concerned, it is a local take-away.  This Hawk was photographed shortly before the sun went down on the last day of April 2011.  I believe the unfortunate bird was a Tree Sparrow of which we have many.
